SANDRA MADDOX BRITT joined the O’Riordan Bethel law firm in May 2016 as Investigative and Counseling/Managing Attorney. Ms. Britt has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of EEO law, with  deep substantive experience in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Americans With Disabilities Act, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Equal Pay Act of 1963, and Title IX of the Higher Education Act of 1965.
Ms. Britt’s career has focused on Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity & Inclusion matters and EEO investigations on behalf of all levels of the federal government and private sector businesses. Ms. Britt has managed and supervised the delivery of EEO complaint-related services to more than 13 agencies including the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Bureau of Land Management, and GSA.

As a Certified Mediator, she has facilitated the negotiation of settlements for the Office of Civil Rights in Baltimore Maryland and mediated legal disputes invInolving employment, family, contracts, and business issues.

Ms. Britt earned her J.D. from The American University, Washington College of Law in 1997, and her undergraduate degree with a concentration in Philosophy, Religion, and Education from Colgate University in 1993.

Ms. Britt is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
